The Bomè Cured Meat Factory

A 60 year-long history (and beyond...)

The company was founded in 1962 as a small butchery, the brainchild of its founder, Bomè Odorizio. It continued to develop gradually until 1987 when, thanks to his children Silvietto, Dario, and Nora, it began to produce and sell high-quality speck.

In the years which followed, the company experienced a period of development which soon led it to concentrate all its efforts in the production of cured meats instead of the wholesale meat trade and it soon became a trusted partner of the main Italian and European sliced meet industries.

Quality and innovation

During 2018 and 2019, expansion works began, leading to an increase in surface area of over 9,000 square metres on two floors.

To date, the company’s main products are speck, salted meats, smoked and stewed pancetta, Speckotto, Sottofesa all’inglese, Lardo, Fumatello and cooked meats.

In recent years, in order to guarantee transparency and traceability throughout the entire food production chain, the company has correctly focused on obtaining certifications attesting to the quality of its products.

It can also boast export licences, a further guarantee of constant improvement in the control of internal processes.
